Her mainline DSLS talk will be at 7:30 PM in Laurie Auditorium and is entitled Talking to the Brain in Its Own Language. In addition, at 4:00 PM in Chapman Auditorium she will presenting Using Neural Codes to Develop New Kinds of Prosthetic Devices - a talk that will be a bit more scientific than the general-audience talk at Laurie. |

Due to a large number of senior students this semester, the seminar has included more non-research topics such as presentation skills, job-related topics and introductions to programs in Math Education. We also want to make sure that the rest of the Math majors are aware of different deadlines of research and funding opportunities as well as know how to use Latex/Beamer for reports/presentations in Math. As a result, we do have a limited number of research talks which mean that the students in "Junior Writing Workshop" can use one of these talks for their written report as well as another from the Senior presentations.
